ZⓈONAMACO presentará más de 210 galerías y expositores provenientes de 26 países de América, Europa y Asia en su próxima edición que reunirá por primera vez sus cuatros ferias bajo un mismo techo de manera simultánea.
ZⓈONAMACO se reivindica como la plataforma de ferias más grande en México y Latinoamérica que en 2019 recibió a más de 62 mil visitantes y que reunirá en 2020 a numerosos expositores nacionales e internacionales en materia de arte, diseño, fotografía y antigüedades en Centro Citibanamex.
IN 2020, ZⓈONAMACO WILL HOST A COLLECTIVE PROJECT FOR INDEPENDENT SPACES AND PRESENT A WIDE RANGE OF SPECIALIZED BOOKS
● In the next edition of ZⓈONAMACO, a collective project for independent spaces will be presented for the very first time
● ZⓈONAMACO LIBROS will thrive to become a special section.
ZⓈONAMACO, Latin America’s Art Fair, has announced that in the 2020 edition a collective project will be hosted, that considers independent spaces, mainly from Mexico, in addition to a wide range of specialized books on art and photography.
THE COLLECTIVE PROJECT
For the first time ever, a collective project carried out by different independent spaces will be presented at ZⓈONAMACO 2020. These different independent spaces conform and shape the ‘Plaza de la informalidad’, a collective installation that by means of its artistic and museographic proposal, seeks to pay homage to occult practices within the economy. This project, curated by guadalajara90210 and directed by Alma Saladin and Marco Rountree, will boast the collaboration of the following:

The ‘Plaza de la informalidad’, will be located within the ZⓈONAMACO Mexico Contemporary Art Fair and will function as an informal bazaar where each one of the spaces will be presenting unique proposals, including pieces that attendees will be able to purchase.

ZⓈONAMACO aims to expand its content proposal at the fair in order to offer attendees a rewarding experience as well as revealing new exhibitors with independent art-related projects.
The following edition of ZⓈONAMACO will take place at Centro Citibanamex from February 5th - 9th, and for the first time ever, all four fairs will be brought together at the same time: ZⓈONAMACO Mexico Contemporary Art, ZⓈONAMACO Diseño, ZⓈONAMACO Foto and ZⓈONAMACO Salón. ABOUT ZⓈONAMACO
ZⓈONAMACO is the largest fair platform in Latin America, founded in 2002 by Zélika García. It holds four different annual events at Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City: ZⓈONAMACO MEXICO CONTEMPORARY ART, brings together leading and emerging national and international art galleries; ZⓈONAMACO DESIGN, established in 2011, exhibits furniture, jewellery, textiles, limited editions, and decorative objects; ZⓈONAMACO SALON, established in 2014, which exhibits antiques, and finally, ZⓈONAMACO FOTO, established in 2015, that features vintage, modern, and contemporary photography with the purpose of including and encouraging the design, antiques, and photography sectors in Mexico.
